1. Scope
This policy applies to services ordered from stepien.store, Franciszkańska 30, 91-441 Łódź, Poland. It reflects EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
2. Consumer right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason. To do so, send a clear statement to contact@stepien.store or by post to our address. You may use the model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
3. Work started during the withdrawal period
If you expressly request that we start work before the 14-day period ends, you must pay for the part of the service performed up to the moment you withdraw. If the service has been fully performed with your express consent and acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
4. Refunds
We refund all eligible payments within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise. You will not incur any fees for the refund.
5. Cancellation by business clients
Business clients may cancel a project at any time with written notice. Work completed up to the cancellation date is invoiced pro rata, and the deposit covers work already performed. Any remaining prepaid amount above the value of completed work is refunded within 14 days.
6. Cancellation by us
We may cancel a project if the client materially breaches the contract (e.g. non-payment or failure to provide materials for more than 30 days after a written reminder). In that case completed work is invoiced and any surplus prepayment is refunded.
7. Defective services
If a service does not conform to the contract, you may request a repair free of charge. If repair is impossible or unsuccessful, consumers may request a price reduction or withdraw from the contract under statutory rules.
